An emergency slide from a Boeing 767 operated by Delta Air Lines mistakenly deploys

While parked at London Gatwick on April 15, 2024, a Delta Air Lines Boeing 767-300ER (N198DN) mistakenly deployed its emergency slide. A food truck was servicing the aircraft when the tragedy happened.

The emergency slide that blew out wound up atop the food truck. There have been no reported injuries, and the delay amounted to over three hours.
