Severe Flooding Occurs at Dubai International Airport

Due to significant rains over the previous day, Dubai International Airport (DXB) has experienced major flooding. 4.7 inches of rain have fallen on the city in the last twenty-four hours.

Airport operations have been disrupted by the floods. At least 24 planes coming in and going out have been canceled thus far. Online videos depict airplanes flying over floodwaters.
